Someburros Opens Its New Lake Pleasant Location in Peoria, Arizona
Our 19th Arizona location is officially open, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome the Lake Pleasant community to the Someburros family!
For nearly 40 years, Someburros has been serving authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food to families across Arizona. Today, we're proud to continue that tradition with the opening of our newest restaurant in North Peoria, conveniently located at Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road in the Lake Pleasant Towne Center.
This marks our second Someburros location in Peoria and our 19th restaurant overall, bringing our family recipes even closer to residents, commuters, and visitors exploring one of Arizona's favorite outdoor destinations.
Authentic Mexican Food Near Lake Pleasant
Whether you're heading out for a day on the water, returning from a hike, or simply looking for a great local restaurant, our Lake Pleasant location is the perfect stop for fresh, made-to-order Sonoran-style Mexican food.
Just minutes from Lake Pleasant Regional Park, Scorpion Bay Marina, and surrounding neighborhoods, we're excited to serve both longtime Someburros fans and guests discovering us for the very first time.
From our signature Pollo Fundido and award-winning burros to tacos, enchiladas, fresh salsa, and handmade tortillas, every meal is prepared using recipes inspired by our family matriarch, Nana Isabel Vasquez.
A Restaurant Built for the Community
Every Someburros location reflects the community it serves, and Lake Pleasant is no exception.
Inside, guests will find a custom mural celebrating the area's natural beauty, featuring our beloved burro mascot surrounded by a Lake Pleasant sunset, colorful hot air balloons, and the scenic Arizona landscape that makes this community so unique.
We're honored to become part of one of Arizona's fastest-growing areas and look forward to supporting local schools, organizations, businesses, and families for years to come.
Celebrating 40 Years of Arizona Tradition
Opening our Lake Pleasant restaurant is especially meaningful as Someburros celebrates 40 years of serving Arizona.
