A Burro Built by Family

Behind every delicious bite of Someburros is a family story, and at the center of it all is Tim Vasquez, third-generation restaurateur, father of three and current owner of Someburros. But long before Tim was leading the brand across the valley, into ballparks and the future, he was learning the ropes from his own dad: George Vasquez.

George and his family opened the very first Someburros in Tempe in 1986. With Nana Isabel’s legendary Sonoran recipes and a vision for a community-driven, family-focused restaurant, they started something that would eventually grow into a Valley staple with 16 (and counting) locations.
